The Australian Injectable Drugs Handbook (AIDH10) app provides up-to-date and vital information on more than 500 injectable medicines and is an essential frontline resource for ensuring patient safety and quality care. Now including the brand-new Infusion Rate Calculator, the AIDH10 app is published by the Therapeutic Guidelines platform. Every monograph has been reviewed by pharmacists and nurses to ensure information is correct, current and relevant to Australian practice. The AIDH10 app brings this trusted resource into a new era of digital clinical resources to support health professionals at the point-of-care.

The new 10th edition has been comprehensively updated and includes:

  • Information on 29 new medicines, with all 500+ drug monographs reviewed for currency and accuracy.
  • Ambulatory antimicrobial therapy information has been reviewed and updated across 26 drug monographs.
  • New guidance on the preparation and administration of the first antimicrobial dose for adults with sepsis across 7 drug monographs.
  • New guidance on available potassium chloride premixed infusion bags, their safe selection and administration, organised in a user-friendly table.
  • New compatibility information in 40 drug monographs.
