Conditions of use and disclaimer

These are the conditions to which all publications accessed via the Therapeutic Guidelines Limited (we or us) Platforms are subject, including but not limited to the Therapeutic Guidelines app; the website accessible from www.tg.org.au; the website accessible from www.australianprescriber.tg.org.au; and other TGL products and subdomains (for example, ObesiD and Don't Rush to Crush) (Platforms). In using any of these publications, all users (you) agree to these conditions.

Use of information at own risk

We provide no warranty that the information (Information) accessible from the Therapeutic Guidelines Limited Platforms is accurate, up-to-date or complete and in no circumstance does the Information constitute professional advice. You are responsible for independently verifying the Information if you intend to rely upon or use it in any way. In appropriate circumstances, this may necessitate that you obtain independent advice.
The website includes Information provided to us by third parties and that Information may not have been vetted by us. You use all Information at your own risk.

We disclaim all responsibility

Supply of our products or services

The website provides ways for you to subscribe (by way of licence) to online publications such as Therapeutic Guidelines. Acceptable use

To the extent that any Therapeutic Guidelines Limited Platform provides any service that enables you to post or upload any information to a publication, you acknowledge and agree as follows:

Information security

We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect our Platforms and content, identity and access controls, logging, vulnerability management and incident response processes. You are responsible for using supported systems, enabling multifactor authentication (MFA) where available, and promptly notifying us of suspected incidents. Do not conduct penetration testing, scanning or reverse engineering without prior written authorisation under an approved security testing or responsible disclosure program.

Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning and Data Usage

Unless expressly permitted in writing by Therapeutic Guidelines Limited:
  • The Information may not be used to train, fine-tune, validate, test, or otherwise develop AI systems, large language models, machine learning models, neural networks, or similar technologies.
  • The Information may not be ingested, indexed, cached, embedded, vectorized, or otherwise transformed for use in AI-related dataset, corpus, or feature store.
  • Automated or manual scraping, text and data mining, harvesting, or extraction of any Therapeutic Guidelines Limited Platforms or content, whether for AI purposes or any other analytic or computational use, is prohibited.
  • Users may not input, upload, store, or expose the Information within any third-party generative AI system, chatbot, or automated processing tool where doing so could reproduce, distribute, store, or disclose the Information, or otherwise cause it to leave the secure environment.
  • Users may not link, sync, or transfer the Information into external data lakes, data warehouses, analytics platforms, vector databases, cloud services, or software applications.
  • The Information may not be used to create embeddings, feature vectors, or other machine-processable representations for analytics, personalisation, search optimisation, or mode development.
  • The Information may not be copied, cloned, replicated, mirrored, or stored in any environment, local or cloud-based.
Therapeutic Guidelines Limited reserves the right to implement technical, contractual, and monitoring safeguards to detect, prevent, and respond to unauthorised AI-related or data-extractive use.

General

These conditions are governed by the law of the State of Victoria, Australia and we each submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state. If part or all of any provision of these conditions or their application to any person or circumstance is illegal or unenforceable the provision will be interpreted so as to ensure it is not illegal or unenforceable. If any provision or part of it cannot be so interpreted, the provision or part of it will be severed from these conditions and the remaining provisions of these conditions continue in force.
