Therapeutic Guidelines Limited (TGL) is
pleased to have been selected as the new digital healthcare
publisher of the Remote Primary Health Care Manuals (RPHCM)
by the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing. These
include the CARPA Standard Treatment Manual,
Minymaku Kutju Tjukurpa Women’s Business Manual,
Clinical Procedures Manual, and Medicines Book for
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioners.
In July 2026, TGL will begin exploring and consulting with the
RPHCM Governance Committee, representatives from remote primary
health care services as well as key stakeholders to support
a more user-friendly, accessible digital resource, and one that
continues to uphold the clinical quality and the user-led ethos of RPHCM.
Building on the foundational contribution of many clinicians with experience and knowledge relevant to remote and Aboriginal primary health care, TGL will work together with the RPHCM Governance Committee to form and support the new Editorial Committee. This will ensure RPHCM content continues to be shaped by expert insights and grounded in local experience, and remains timely, relevant, and evidence based.
The new digital version of RPHCM will be available in February
2027.
