The new 10th edition of Australia’s essential guide to safely administering injectable medicines will launch on 1 July 2026 – and it will have a new home.

The new 10th edition of the Australian Injectable Drugs Handbook (AIDH10) will build on its reputation as one of the most respected, trusted and loved resources used by frontline health professionals for nearly 30 years, while bringing it into a new age of digital clinical support.Featuring a brand-new Infusion Rate Calculator, AIDH10’s modern, dedicated app has been extensively redesigned to provide a simple, seamless user experience.

The new calculator tool will support and streamline complex point-of-care workflows for health professionals administering injectable medications. By helping reduce the need for multistep calculations, health professionals will be able to provide face-to-face care more efficiently.

The 10th edition of the Handbook is the first to be published under a new partnership between Advanced Pharmacy Australia (AdPha) and Therapeutic Guidelines Ltd. The 10th edition’s content has been developed, reviewed and updated by teams of expert pharmacists and nurses working with AdPha and the apps' intuitive new redesign is powered by Therapeutic Guidelines platform.
