Today, Therapeutic Guidelines launched a new desktop app experience with elevated designs, enhanced search features, modern layouts and intuitive navigation to streamline clinical workflows and positively impact patient care outcomes. Significant enhancements are available to all users now. To view the improvements please log in to your desktop app.

*Desktop app refers to the app.tg.org.au. No desktop app update is required to view the changes to the new app. Users will get access to the new desktop app automatically with their current subscription.

Overview of desktop app experience improvements:

• Streamlined, user-friendly navigation for quick and easy access to guidelines, calculators, favourites and other resources.
• Search experience improvements:
  • Improved, predictive search experience with a new design so users can switch seamlessly between drug indication and topics.
  • New subtopic suggestions in main search with the top 2 to 5 most relevant subtopics.
  • New ‘filter by guideline’ option so users can quickly get content related to a single guideline of their choosing.
• Elevated user-centric category pages for the 21 guidelines, with links to relevant topics, updates, tables and figures.
• In-text citations powered by PubMed, with quick access to a full list of references.

Therapeutic Guidelines users can now navigate effortlessly through the guidelines and adjust text sizes, easily share topics, and get updates within the guidelines category pages. The modern desktop app improvement launched today now aligns with our reimagined mobile app experience available since 16 October 2025.
