Sue studied biology at the University of Sussex and completed her doctorate in cellular immunology and cancer research at the University of Oxford.

Her professional interest is in promoting the uptake of research into clinical practice. During the past 10 years at the National Institute of Clinical Studies and National Health and Medical Research Council Sue led national guideline development, implementation and fellowship programs aimed at improving the quality of health care. Since 2009 Sue has been a member of the Guidelines-International-Network (G-I-N) Board of Trustees. BACK TO TOP

Rob Moulds

Rob was for many years the Head of a General Medical Unit and the Director of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, as well as the Dean of the Royal Melbourne and Western Hospitals Clinical School of the University of Melbourne. More recently he has been the Professor of Medicine and then acting Dean of the Fiji School of Medicine, from which he has now retired as Emeritus Professor.

Rob has been actively involved with TGL ever since it first began, including being the Chairman of many writing committees and the first Chairman of the Board of Directors. BACK TO TOP

Leigh-Anne Claase

Leigh-Anne is a pharmacist with several years’ experience in primary care in the UK. After completing her PhD in neuropharmacology in 2003, Leigh-Anne joined the British National Formulary (BNF) as a staff editor. Over the years she worked her way up through the ranks, eventually being promoted to the executive team of the BNF’s parent company, Pharmaceutical Press. Leigh-Anne loves being out of doors, and is a keen cyclist, climber, skier, and picnic-er.

Alli Patterson

Alli joined Therapeutic Guidelines as an editor in 2010 when she moved to Melbourne. She is a New Zealand qualified pharmacist with experience in hospital and community pharmacy, and has a postgraduate certificate in therapeutics. Before working at Therapeutic Guidelines, Alli was an editor of the British National Formulary in London. BACK TO TOP

Siân Hughes

Another former Brisbanite, Siân joined TGL as the Marketing Director in August 2012, having previously worked at the National E-Health Transition Authority as a Marketing Specialist. She holds a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) and Bachelor of Science from the University of Queensland.  Over the past 10 years Siân has worked at a number of private and public organisations in the medical / health industry both in Australia and the UK. Outside her work at TGL, Siân has an interest in the welfare of the four-legged variety, volunteering her marketing skills with PetRescue. BACK TO TOP

Judeline Suares

As the Office Manager of TGL, Judeline Suares manages general sales and administration. She is one of the longest serving (though not oldest!) staff members. Judeline was born in India and is a graduate of Madras Christian College (India), where she earned a masters in english literature. When she’s not at work, Judeline enjoys reading, gardening, shopping (a bit too much) and doting on her 3 beautiful dogs. BACK TO TOP

Loretta Dalla-Valle

Loretta Dalla-Valle has worked at TGL since its beginnings. Her duties involve customer service, processing of orders, administration, and tending to board and expert writing group meetings. She thoroughly enjoys her work at TGL and finds the staff warm and friendly. Jess Gauci

Jess started working at TGL in 2011 full-time whilst completing her traineeship in Certificate IV in Business Administration. Jess assists with reception, administration, phone enquiries, orders and deliveries. In her spare time,she enjoys playing soccer with her nieces and nephews as well as painting and shopping. Paulette Trevena

Paulette Trevena joined TGL as the Marketing Communications Officer in 2007 from Victoria University, where she was the Head of Advertising in Corporate Marketing. Paulette has qualifications in graphic design and worked in freelance design before moving into marketing, publications and advertising. Paulette is responsible for promoting Therapeutic Guidelines, producing marketing materials, coordinating conferences where TGL is represented, and liaising with partner organisations and media. Carol Norquay

Carol Norquay was lured to Australia from the UK in 1998 to assist with development of eTG complete. As an editor, Carol has worked with expert groups to update topics in Psychotropic, Neurology and Respiratory titles. Prior to working at TGL, Carol was the Production Editor at the Drug and Therapeutics Bulletin in London. She has a BSc in pharmacology from the University of Edinburgh and an MA in publishing and editing from the University of Melbourne. BACK TO TOP

Michael Kingsford

Michael Kingsford joined TGL in 2002, and since then has worked as an editor. He has worked with several of the expert groups to prepare material for Therapeutic Guidelines: Cardiovascular, Endocrinology, Rheumatology and Palliative Care. Michael has a background in medicine. BACK TO TOP

Her initial career was in medical research. For several years Susie worked in a division of general practice and managed projects that promoted the quality use of medicines. Melanie Rosella

Melanie Rosella joined TGL as an editor in 2008. She has a background in hospital pharmacy, having worked at Austin Health as a clinical ward pharmacist and in the Outreach Pharmacy service. Melanie has a masters degree in public health from the University of Melbourne. In her spare time, Melanie enjoys catching up with friends for coffee and spending time with her gorgeous nephew! She is able to combine her love of words with her interest in encouraging optimal patient care. Jo has worked in community pharmacy, community mental health and, most recently, as Director of Pharmacy for The Royal Melbourne Hospital - Royal Park Campus. Jane Watson-Brown

As TGL’s Health Information Officer, Jane Watson-Brown conducts literature searches, selects links to related resources for eTG complete and provides advice on information resources. Her background is in specialist librarianship and she has worked for several years in disability and infectious diseases information resource centres. Jane has also worked on publications: Australian national dictionary and Arts management: a practical guide. She has a BA in literature and drama and graduate diplomas in librarianship and children's literature. BACK TO TOP

Stephan Reiner

Stephan Reiner joined TGL as Information Technology Officer in 2009. While he has degrees in economics, IT and applied statistics, his passion is working with computers. His role at TGL encompasses provision of a reliable IT infrastructure, with a software-development centric view of the production process, and support for TGL’s internal and external clients. Yin Shen

Whilst completing his Masters, he began working part-time as a full stack application developer, and found his passion for programming.
